Also the social anxieties that we all face one time or another in our life. There are many ways people express their feelings. My feelings, thoughts and perceptions of the world are channelled through music. The words and music reflect personal experiences I have had throughout my life as an artist as well as a person. We are all living and breathing air expression is what God gave us as a gift. "Alien" is what we are when we can't express it. The band is now ready to show the world the new face of rock-n-roll!"
Alien will be released with the following track listing: Communication; Don't Tell Me Your Lies; No Surprise; Gravity; Redemption; Helicopter; Alien; When I Close My Eyes; Woman; Can't Run Away; Creep; Don t Tell Me Your Lies (acoustic)(Exclusive Bonus Track for Europe)

RUFFIAN ‘Desert of Tears’ Metal heaven (2006) www.ruffians.org
US metal band formed back in the mid-80’s before calling it a day in 1989 and then coming back together for reunion shows in 2004. They have as typical metal sound that is not bad its just lacks that killer touch or riff to lift it out of the ordinary. ‘Running Blind’ and ‘I Will Fly’ lift the standard briefly bringing to mind Lionsheart, Onlsaught and 1980’s Iron Maiden. Not a bad album but there are so many better releases out there and unless you were a fan first time around there is little to entice in new listeners.

KOOPA ‘The Three In A Bed With Bobby George EP’ (CDS 2006) www.koopatheband.com
Three piece band form the UK who have roped in former darts star turned commentator Bobby George (he of blingy tops and lots of jewellery) for the CD cover and video. Musically they are the UK’s answer to Blink 182 and Bowling For Soup. Very catchy tunes with a UK slant on the lyrics and the band take a sideways pop at similar bands in ‘Pop Rock Factory’.
Koopa will never win awards for their lyrical depth but they know how to craft catchy tunes and make the most of airplay. One for all you pop punk fans out there…

STACKRIDGE ‘Purple Spaceships Over Yatton – Best Of’ Angel Air (2006) www.angelair.co.uk
Formed back in 1969 Stackridge covered many musical genres and have become something of a cult band amongst music fans, not unlike say the Incredible String Band. They really do cover all musical bases from the sublime folk tinged instrumental ‘Lummy Days’ through to harmony soft rock of ‘Friendliness’ – very CSNY. Then you have ‘Do The Stanley’ which sounds like a Monty Python musical number! ‘Consiton Water’ with its sax verges into jazz rock territory. The title track was re-recorded especially for this compilation making it an enticement for fans of the band getting this release.
One for collectors of quirky English rock/folk bands of the 70’s and the good news for dans is that Angel Air will be releasing their back catalogue.
