Former KISS guitarist Vinnie Vincent has lost a Supreme Court battle over what he claims to be unpaid royalties from the Kiss album 'Lick It Up'. Vincent had previously had a lower court rule against him.

Thy Majestie announced former singer Dario Grillo has returned to the band. Six new songs have been written, with a seventh to follow soon, and the band hopes to hit the studio early next year. Grillo is still part of the band Violet Sun; see http://www.platens-opera.com/ for more. See both http://www.thymajestie.com/ and http://www.myspace.com/thymajesty for more on Thy Majestie.

Evanescence look set to top the US album charts next week with sales predicted to reach 400,000 copies.

PRESS RELEASES

RAIN "Stronger"

RAIN was founded in 1997 as a result of a project started by Lars Forseth and
Sonny Crow from the band Bankok Babes. They were soon joined by the Bangkok
Babes drummer Per-Helge Bruvoll, guitarist Tore Moren from Jorn and
Michael Bormann (Jaded Heart, Bonfire, J.R. Blackmore, Zeno, etc.) The recordings for their second album took place in Michael Bormann’s studio in Duisburg, Germany in 2005. The album is now being released by MTM MUSIC for the
territory of Europe and in Japan by JVC/Victor. “Stronger” is a pure AOR
Hardrock album and Michael Bormann continues with this great band where he
stopped after the JADED HEART “IV” album.

After having recorded a couple of solo albums and having produced some French and American artists, Frédéric decided to start a "one man band". This marked the birth of his project AOR, always using the cream of US session players. In 2000, the first album "L.A CONCESSION" was released and gave big respect in the Westcoast / AOR music scene. The second album "NEXT STOP L.A" was released one year later. It was in 2002 that Frédéric Slama released his third album "L.A. REFLECTION", which was considered to be the best Westcoast CD of the year by many journalists and fans. In 2003, Frédéric Slama returned with
"DREAMING OF L.A" and in 2004, released "NOTHING BUT THE BEST", a compilation album featuring the best songs from his previous CD's with unreleased tracks. AOR was back again in 2006 on MTM with a new cd called "L.A ATTRACTION "featuring as always the cream of L.A session players such as STEVE LUKATHER , PHILIP BARDOWELL, TOMMY DENANDER, MICHAEL LANDAU and many more. The current album "L.A Concession" was actually released in 2000 as a strictly limited "private pressing" on CD-R only. when this album appeared on eBay, prices usually ranged around 150.00 €. Finally, this extraordinary production finds its way into the record stores and mail orders as an official release. The CD now includes 4 previously unreleased bonus tracks, a new full colour booklet with lyrics which make this great fully remastered album even more attractive for all AOR / Westcoast and melodic rock fans!

DA VINCI "Back In Business"

In 1987, five young men from Oslo, Norway were signed by Polygram and joined forces to record an album of finest Scandinavian AOR and Melodic Rock: DA VINCI’s self-titled debut. In the tradition of other Scandinavian rock bands of the mid-80’s such as Treat, Europe or Dalton, DA VINCI delivered well-produced songs full of hooks, driven by guitars and stunning keyboards. The success of the critically acclaimed debut immediately resulted in a second effort, Back In Business from 1989, which is also considered to be a real gem among melodic rock aficionados worldwide. Bass player Bjorn Boge later joined STREET LEGAL and played with ex-EUROPE lead guitarist JOHN NORUM 'Wild Willy' Bendickson from BAD HABIT among others.

The release of "Back In Business" is scheduled on MTM MUSIC in November 10th,
2006.
