PRESS RELEASES

Frontiers Records is pleased to announce all details surrounding the release of the highly anticipated new album from HARTMANN “Home” on January 26th 2007.
Oliver Hartmann is one of the blossoming talents of the “New Wave of Reborn Melodic Rock” coming from Europe. Former singer of the Metal band AT VANCE, his stunning debut album “Out In The Cold” made a strong impact on the fans during 2005 and he was awarded as #4 Best Album and #1 Song of The Year on the popular website www.melodicrock.com. His new album entitled “Home”, offers again an irresistible mix of melodies, emotion and powerful rock, with exquisite arrangements and a voice that will stand in the years to come.
Produced once again by Sascha Paeth (KAMELOT, ANGRA etc.) and Oliver Hartmann, “Home” was recorded from January through to August 2006. “I'm very satisfied with the new album "Home" cause for me it's one step forward concerning the songwriting and production”, says Oliver. “Due to the fact that the main part of the album was recorded with the same line up touring this summer with TOTO, everything has developed more and more into a band's sound, which is a little rougher than "Out in the Cold".
The band’s line up featured on the album is as follows: Oliver Hartmann (vocals& guitar), Mario Reck (guitar), Armin Donderer (bass), Juergen Wuest (keys), Dario Ciccioni (drums)
Final tracklisting of “Home” is:
Coming Home To You; The Sun’s Still Rising; My Everything is You; Somewhere Someday; Just For You; I Don’t Want To Know; Higher Than Me; Why Do I; Millionaire; Crying; Lay All Your Love On Me.

REVIEWS

FINAL FRONTIER ‘Freelight’ Escape Music (2006) www.escape-music.com

Final Frontier, who feature Von Groove’s Mladen are back and on a new label as well. Like their last album ‘Second Wave’ this is pomp rock meets Journey in a big way! It is unashamedly classic 80’s in sound with modern production and the helium filled vocals of Rob Moratti. There are big choruses, harmonies galore and of course a few ballads in the mix. Highlights include the title that whizzes in on a swirl of keys and guitar, whilst ‘Only The lonely’ is simply superb! Great chorus and nice guitar riffs. ‘Someone’s Watching You’ could be Survivor (in fact the guitar reminds me of Survivor’s ‘High On You’). ‘I Hope You Don’t Mind’ is the pick of the ballads and only the two bonus tracks veer into the ordinary but they are still worth listening to. ‘All The Way’ meanwhile has the old ‘air keyboards’ out although the lyric is a tad cheesy!
Yes it is nothing new but by golly these tunes are good and fans of Journey, Survivor and pomp rock will love this album. Final Frontier know what they are good at and deliver the goods yet again.
